Necklace: long turquoise pearl enamel glass floral

one-of-a-kind

I made this necklace for myself as a way of using to some orphaned beads and beads I only had a couple of left.

It is also the first time I’ve made something random in design, with my only rule not to have something of similar size of colour next to each other.

The beads include lovely large enamelled flowers in peach and green, semi-precious kyanite, peridot, turquoise and jade. There are also several kinds of freshwater pearls including coin pearls and faceted pearls. Finally, I included some hand-painted speckled porcelain rounds and some carved and painted ceramic beads.

The necklace wraps around three times and is secured by a floral sterling silver toggle clasp which I wear at the front.

I get a lot of compliments when I wear it and so I will try to always have something similar in my shop.
